1.Dakshineswar Kali Temple
Millions of Hindu believers revere the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, which rises from the banks of Kolkata's River Hooghly. The nine-spired temple, which honours the goddess Kali, was constructed in 1855 and provides insight into the city's religious life and culture.
The Ghum Monastery (Yiga Choeling Monastery) in Darjeeling, which has a sizable Tibetan population, is one of the city's most visited attractions.
